Bourgogne
Pommard
|
No wonder therefore that Pomona, goddess of fruit and gardens, has given her name to this Bourgogne village. She is an enchanting nymph, wearing vine leaves and bunches of grapes on her head and has been looking over these plots of land since times immemorial. The treasure that is Château de Pommard, the finest jewel of Côte de Beaune and Bourgogne, can be found here in the middle of a sea of vines. |
