Bourgogne

Pommard

Pommard has been spoilt by nature and is the blessed land of the gods, a major wine tourism spot in Côte d'or. Its 340 hectares of vines and pinot noir are some of the best known in the world. The excellence of its wines is matched only by their rarity.

No wonder therefore that Pomona, goddess of fruit and gardens, has given her name to this Bourgogne village. She is an enchanting nymph, wearing vine leaves and bunches of grapes on her head and has been looking over these plots of land since times immemorial.

The treasure that is Château de Pommard, the finest jewel of Côte de Beaune and Bourgogne, can be found here in the middle of a sea of vines.
