Château de Pommard Announces En-Primeur Release of 2022 Vintage

We proudly announce the release of seven new Clos Marey-Monge cuvées from the highly anticipated 2022 vintage.

About the vintage

In Burgundy, the 2022 vintage is considered a second wind after the challenges of 2021. At Château de Pommard, the year was filled with firsts. It marked the debut of Jean-Rémi Fray as our vineyard manager alongside his new team. It was also the inaugural year for Paul Negrerie and Sébastien Perdriau at the helm of our winemaking. We embraced innovation, experimenting with new techniques in our vineyards and cellars, constantly striving to improve while capturing the essence of the Clos Marey-Monge’s magnificent terroir. Fortunately, perfect weather conditions greatly supported our efforts, empowering us to realize the full potential of this promising vintage.

About the 2022 Clos Marey-Monge cuvées

This year, we unveiled six distinct cuvées from our 20-hectare privately-owned vineyard alongside our signature blend and true work of art, Clos Marey-Monge Monopole. All organic and biodynamic certified, the Clos Marey-Monge 2022 cuvées are distinguished by their elegance and impeccable balance.
