The Personal Training Account (CPF), created in 2015, is a service mandated by the French Ministry of Labour and managed by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. It replaces the Droit Individuel à la Formation (DIF) and aims to assist employees from the private sector and job seekers.
Each year, employees of the private sector in France accumulate money for their professional training, accessible with the CPF online platform. This amount, available in euros, can then be used for professional training courses that offer a diploma or certification recognised by the French authorities.
Unlike the DIF, the CPF empowers individuals to take the training courses they want without prior agreement from their companies. This meaningful change enables individuals to pursue topics they’re interested in and discover new professional horizons.
French residents can connect to CPF via France Connect and log in using an existing public account (impots.gouv, AMELI, la Poste, etc.). Once the creation of an account is verified, the individual will enter their personal information.
Our three levels of WSET in Wines at École V are all available on the CPF online platform, in French and English, and for both of our schools, in Pommard and Paris. After selecting the desired level, language, and location for the training, individuals can choose the dates that work for them.
Once the training request is validated on the platform, our team will finalise the registration and send the teaching material (for levels 2 and 3 only) to the participants prior to the course.
It is possible to supplement available training funds with personal financing or co-financing Pôle Emploi or the employer) to register for our courses.
