Immerse yourself in the world of wine with École V Paris

Whether you’re planning an upcoming visit to Paris or live there, it’s easy to enrich your wine knowledge in the city of lights. École V Paris offers WSET wine courses for all levels, which pair perfectly with any wine country visits and tastings you have planned.

Located in the heart of Paris, École V is an ideal environment for taking a WSET wine course while exploring the city. With different levels and formats available, our courses adapt to your needs. Each course is available in both French and English and is suitable for beginners as well as professionals. Who wouldn’t want to discover wines from all over the world in the heart of Paris?

For oenophiles who want to learn the basics of decoding a restaurant wine list, we recommend taking the WSET Level 1 in Wine. Offered on Saturdays and Sundays, this introduction to the world of wine is an ideal weekend activity. Not only will you taste wines in the classroom, but you will have the opportunity to apply your new knowledge of wine and food with a field trip to La Grande Épicerie de Paris. Located in the 7th district, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is a haven of local delicacies like fresh breads, cheeses, wines, and more. A weekend wine immersion in Paris is not complete without a visit to La Winerie Parisienne and its urban cellar. La Winerie Parisienne makes wines from grapes that come from all over France, and after learning about the main French grape varieties in your WSET Level 1 course, you will no doubt recognize a few of them.

École V Paris’ evening courses for the WSET Level 2 are ideal for busy schedules. It’s also available in an intensive format - taking place over the span of a weekend - which is ideal for working professionals with busy evenings. Paris has a wide variety of wine bars and cellars, which gives you the perfect opportunity to train your taste buds in between classes. We recommend a visit to La Table, a bistro with an extraordinary selection of organic and biodynamic wines from around the world and a variety of elegant dishes to pair them with.

The WSET Level 3 is available as a 10-day evening course or as a five day course taken over the span of two weeks. This certificate is designed for those who wish to develop professional  expertise in wine tasting and an in-depth knowledge of global wines. Once you receive your Level 3 Certificate, we highly recommend celebrating in Montmartre by exploring its vineyards. Climb the iconic hills of this historic Parisian neighborhood and marvel at its panoramic views of Paris! Before you go, don’t hesitate to book a guided visit to the Caves du Louvre to discover the history of wine and its heritage in an unforgettable setting.
