École V offers a one-day wine introduction for beginners, culminating in the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines certification. You will discover the basic types and styles of wine through their appearance, nose, and palate while developing the skills to accurately describe wine and find the right food and wine pairings. You will taste 18 wines carefully selected from some of the most renowned organic and biodynamic vineyards across the world, including 6 wines from Château de Pommard.
This course can be financed by votre compte formation (CPF).

WSET Level 1 Award in Wines consists of 6 hours of training by a WSET® certified educator. The course lasts one day, from 9 am to 5 pm, including a lunch break, study time and the exam.
You will study the elements presented in the materials given to you on your arrival. You will taste 18 wines following the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting® and explore the world of wine through presentations and exercises. Sessions are limited to 14 students.
A booklet containing the essential points covered during the course, tasting grids and exercises will be given to you on arrival. On the day of your training, you will be led by a WSET-certified educator using interactive and engaging teaching methods. The program includes presentations, discussions and visual aids, as well as guided tastings and self-assessment exercises.
This training is intended for anyone who wants to discover the world of wine and learn its basics. Students must be 18 years old on the day of the training. Sessions are scheduled on the weekends. Registrations close 3 days prior the start date of the session or when full capacity is reached.
There is no preparation required for the WSET Level 1 Award in Wine.
