At the end of your training, you will be able to recognize the different styles of wine produced from these grape varieties, read labels and understand the principles of food and wine pairings.

The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines consists of 30 hours of study, including 18 hours of course by one of our WSET-certified educators. The program takes place over 3 consecutive days, with classes from 9 am to 5 pm with lunch breaks, study time and exam included.
With 6 hours of course each day, the class will use presentations, discussions and tastings to tackle the key points presented in the teaching material. During the course, you will taste 44 wines from the main wine-producing regions of France, Europe and the New World.
Sessions are limited to 14 students in Pommard and Paris.
Once your registration for a session is validated, you'll receive your course material, containing a textbook, study guide, self-assessment exercises, and summary sheet of the Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine®. The program includes presentations, discussions and visual aids, as well as guided tastings and self-assessment exercises. The educator will answer your questions and encourage dynamic and interactive exchanges.
This course is intended for anyone over 18 years old. It is recommended that students have some prior wine knowledge (You can review sample questions for the WSET Level 2 exam in the Specifications).
Sessions are offered both in Pommard and Paris, in French, in English and in Simplified Chinese.
Registrations close 17 days prior to the start date of the session or when maximum capacity is reached.
Preparation for the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines requires at least 12 hours of advance study. You need to read and annotate the textbook and go through the practice questions in the Study Guide prior to the start of the course. It is important to keep in mind the delivery time of your teaching material (sent within 3 business days after registration) and the required study time when registering for a session.
