The 18th edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), which took place over 15 consecutive days in June 2021, included the most wines ever judged in the history of the awards. In total, 18,094 wines were blind tasted, resulting in 50 Best in Show, 179 Platinum, 635 Gold, 5,607 Silver, and 8,332 Bronze medals. Four of our Famille Carabello-Baum and Château de Pommard 2018 cuvées won Silver and Bronze medals.
With 170 of the world’s top wine experts judging the wines, including 44 Masters of Wine and 11 Master Sommeliers, the DWWA is the world's largest wine competition. We are pleased to share our wine results with you today.

Famille Carabello-Baum, Ladoix Premier Cru “Les Gréchons” 2018: Silver medal
Nutty, lemon zest nose with exotic fruit and brioche. Opulent, but fresh, with layers and vibrancy. Clean long length.
Famille Carabello-Baum, Nuits-Saint-Georges 2018: Silver medal
Dark earthy fruits, clove and violet aromas. Sweet and pure fruit with firm, ripe tannins. Nice depth and harmony.
Clos Marey-Monge Monopole 2018: Bronze medal
Strawberry, orange peel and blackberry jam aromas. Rich palate with a silky texture and vibrant acidity.
Famille Carabello-Baum, Meursault 2018: Bronze medal
Honey, beeswax and citrus nose. Rich and oily, with high acidity and savoury character.
