Clos Marey-Monge 75 Rangs 2017: 17.5

"Really gorgeous ripe red fruit, excellent immediate complexity on the nose - this is really on top form. Super-eloquent-charming and perfumed. Earthy, floral, savoury, smoky. Brilliant."

Clos Marey-Monge Micault 2017: 17+

"Like their 75 Rangs, this is immediate and delicious on the nose, perhaps with a stemmy element adding that open, aromatic quality. Fine tannins, fresh acid, juicy cherry fruit. Perhaps a bit lighter than their 75 Rangs, but plenty of flavour still on display. Fine, lengthy finish."

Clos Marey-Monge Monopole 2018: 17

"NHB! Rich red fruits, satiny and curved and almost voluptuous yet shot through with a cool-silk freshness. Has an easy, open charm that makes it very approachable even now in its callow youth. Rose petals and warm spices wrapped in diaphanous tannins. Full, sappy red fruits lingers long and generously on the finish."
Tamlyn Currin

Simone 2018: 16.5

"Naughty heavy bottle with the deepest punt I can remember. Bright cherry red. Very fruity indeed with light tannins on the end and, at two years old, much fruitier, sweeter and approachable than more typical Pommards. Almost a New World take on Pommard but certainly offering lots of pleasure at this early stage with the fruit almost masking the fine tannins. Not recommended for purists -too much pleasure- but it's really easy to like young."
