Échezeaux Grand Cru 2018

  • Our Échezeaux Grand Cru 2018 is a complex Pinot Noir, elegant and full of energy. The nose reveals intense aromas of red fruits, fresh rose, blueberry, and saffron. The palate, with its silky tannins, shows great depth. The remarkable finish evolves with a peppery and minty touch. A great wine for aging, this Côte de Nuits Grand Cru will only reach its peak in the next decade.

  • Separated from famous Clos de Vougeot by a stone wall, Échezeaux is one of the oldest Grand Cru of Côte de Nuits. Its deep soils of pebbles, silt, and marl produce an intense and complex Pinot Noir with very long aging potential. Defined by the monks of the Cîteaux Abbey in the 12th and 13th centuries, it has been legally classified as a Grand Cru since 1937.
