Behind its ruby color, our Émilie 2021 is a fresh and elegant wine. The nose unveils blackcurrant bud aromas, as well as cherry notes and a light touch of pepper. The tannins are refreshing on the palate and the finish is vibrant and tasty.
In 2017, new vines were planted at the furthest eastern point of our Clos Marey-Monge on clay-limestone soils with a sandy texture. Gravel and pebbles are also found in this area of the vineyard, but become increasingly rare with depth. This is where our Émilie cuvée begins her journey.
