Behind its golden color, our Bourgogne Aligoté 2022 displays a rich, complex nose of rhubarb and white flowers. The palate offers intense notes of honey and the finish leaves a lovely aromatic tension. Rich and complex, this is a fascinating Aligoté not to be missed.
Although it is still widely misconceived to be less noble than other local grape varieties, Aligoté has prospered throughout Burgundy since the 17th century thanks to the diversity of the region's terroirs. This white grape grows mainly on limestone-rich soils, composed of marl and clay. The rich and round texture with a mineral edge shows the capacity of this typically Burgundian variety.
