Crafted to evolve over time, our Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru “Morgeot” 2019 reveals intense aromas of garden rose, dried flowers, black fruit and clove. On the palate, the oak is well integrated, while the tannins are supple and silky. The finish is long-lasting with a delicious peppery note.
Chassagne-Montrachet “Morgeot” benefits from clay and limestone-rich soils and a southeasterly exposure in the Côte de Beaune, resulting in a complex and full-bodied Pinot Noir with long aging potential. First planted in the 15th century, this Premier Cru–one of 55 in the appellation–shares its renowned terroir between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
