Our Gevrey-Chambertin 2014 is an elegant and sophisticated Pinot Noir in its prime. The nose reveals dried peony and rose petals, Morello cherry, cranberry, and kirsch aromas while the palate offers delicate sweet baking spices, forest floor, and earthy notes. Deliciously soft with silky smooth tannins, this beautiful Pinot will provide the perfect foil for a great diversity of rich flavors.

With its pebbly brown limestone and marlaceous lime soil, Gevrey-Chambertin is the perfect terroir for Pinot Noir. As such, it's no wonder that the area can create all matter of Burgundian appellations. Our Gevrey-Chambertin 2014 comes from the acclaimed “Les Journaux” parcel, located on the bottom of the Côte de Nuits slope.

Hand-harvested grapes, hand-sorted on a vibrating table. 100% de-stemmed, placed into stainless steel fermentation vats by gravity flow. Weeks-long maceration, minimal pumping-over, and punching-down. Pressing in pneumatic press. Placed in French oak barrels for aging on fine lees. Not filtered.
